So, should you shoot RAW or JPG files for landscapes? It depends. Largely depends on what you want to use your photos for. If you are posting to Social Media, and I'm not knocking that, then it's best to shoot low to mid sized JPG files. That's because file size can be held to under a 5K limit for a lot of sites.

But, if you want to post process and enlarge your files to print in sizes larger than 5"x7", then RAW is your choice. For example, I set my cameras to shoot RAW always, because you never know when you might capture something you'll want to hang on your wall. It's definitely more time consuming on your part to shoot RAW and file sizes depend on your camera's sensor size. More to follow...
